a movie of it all

Posted on Jan 14th, 2007 by Nadroj : Dreamer/Schemer Nadroj
the folly of man
driven out into the snow by his own desire

If you were watching a movie of it all, you would plead with the hero, "don't go. be stronger"

The universe, though, with its infinite wisdom, ballances our yearnings.

You examine the wounds with your hands, and look towards the sky

There's no use cursing he who cut you, he's the same one who dressed you warm and sent you searching out there.

Go home. Kick off your boots.

close your eyes and stay by the fire .

inspiring, jordan! what a lovely thought: soften up! don't try so hard! nothing to prove, nowhere to go but here…

deliciously seditious! but lest we lose the proverbial bath-baby:

desire, snow
great teachers
hearth, home
likewise!

ebb and flow
are binding
triangulated by need
you rig the sails
and tack across the waves
as the spirit moves you
through adventure
and striving
and heartbreak
back home
to bind the wounds
lift the glass
and warm the toes
and think
what was i thinking!
