Mini-update

First off, if you're looking for a good silly smile, read the previous blog entry- posted last night. i guess you post too many too quick you risk people don't read the good stuff.

second,  i have to run to a Yoga class. (Yin Yoga at my new favorite yoga studio, well at least in Philly-
Wake Up Yoga but. I just wanted to share my exuberance with everyone.

so here's the good news! 2 big announcements!

So today a crew's going tomato picking (food pick #2)
for the event.

Massive, i mean massive pot of chili will be made, so we need lots.

and from what i hear we have so many to pick. so everyone'll be going home with boatloads, and also there'll be more than enough to freeze and get ready for the event-

and get this- i have asked the farmer, and he doesn't mind if we SELL THE EXTRA so that we can raise funds for the event!(scroll down to the bottom after following that link for info on the event, or just read other blog entries)

Okay. so that's not what particularly made me so joyous, and want to post a blog article, no no. that's good, but this bit is just fantastic...

I put out an advertisement for artists to participate in making the event pretty (designing and building the booths that the teachers will be teaching out of)
and i got a WAVE of response from artists volunteering!!!!!!!!!!!!!
